How to book a flight?

Directly on line WWW.BELLEAIREUROPE.EU and through CRS (Computer Reservation System), in travel agencies or by calling the BELLE AIR Service Center. The conditions and the prices are always the same.

Is it possible to combine flights?

All the flights can be freely combined between them. The flights should however be combined in a way that they can form a circular itinerary. There are no minimal stay durations and no supplements will be applied for trips lasting more than four weeks. One way flights are possible either from Italy or from other Countries to Italy.

What are the minimal deadlines for the online bookings?

It is possible to book through the internet until three hours before the departure.
In case of the latest booking, the ticket should be taken before the departure at the special counter of BELLE AIR EUROPE at the airport of departure, by handing the reservation number and the identity card/passport

How to pay the flight?

With credit card (Visa and MasterCard). You may purchase the ticket by the ticketing counter of BELLE AIR EUROPE in the Airports. If you have a bank account you can also pay through the debit in your account, with the condition that the Bank Transfer is effected within 2 hours from the reservation. Same procedure is required when payment is through Post Account.

How to get the flight documents?

 

Your Travel Documents (Ticket/itinerary receipt) will be sent to you via E-Mail and SMS at the moment you complete the booking.

Is it possible to modify the reservations?

Modifications of the reservation means, in case there is a sufficient capacity for passengers, changing the date or destination of the flight, the airport of the departure or of the arrival, should be done not later than 3 hours before the departure. In principle, a modification of the reservation on the day of the departure is excluded.

Modifications can be done even through telephone, but it is not possible to change a reservation of another person or to modify the ticket after the departure day. There is non refund for Non Show passengers.

Modifications regarding booked flights with major tariffs, in favor of flights with inferior tariffs, are possible but the original price is preserved. For modifications of flights with major tariffs, the difference of the price should be paid. The modification Fee to be paid for every passenger amounts 30 to 50 Euros.

A modification of the name of a passenger is possible until three hours before the departure of the flight for the first flight of the trip. The modification of the name is treated like a modification of the reservation, so the highest price of the flight and a modification Fee of 30 to 50 Euros per person should be paid.

Infants under 2 years old, not entitled to having a seat, are not charged any Fee for modifications.

Changes of the return date should be made before the return date, even through telephone Call and pa modification Fee of 30 to 50 Euros per person should be paid to BELLE AIR EUROPE. For modifications of flights with major tariffs, the difference of the price should be paid also.

How  can a booking be cancelled?

A voluntary cancellation for a booking of a flight or of a special service you have requested should be communicated to BELLE AIR EUROPE in written before the day of departure, specifying the booking number.

We recommend you to purchase a Travel Insurance to cover Flight Cancellation costs.

Is any discount for infants?

Yes. The prices for infants have discount 90%, airport departure taxes are not charged but surcharges are charged.
It is permitted only one infant having no seat with one adult. Infants have not any registered baggage allowance.

Are there discounts for groups?

 Yes. Group trips means making a reservation for a one and/or two ways flight for a minimum of 10 persons (children under two year olds do not count) to a common destination.

Until which month of pregnancy can future mothers fly?

Pregnant women are allowed to fly until the 8th month of the pregnancy. Also the returning flight should be reserved within this limit.

No, the children under two years do not have the right of an individual seat. Only one baby is allowed for every adult passenger

Until their 14th birthday, children should be accompanied by an adult.

What are the recommendations for handicapped passengers?  

 For handicapped passengers BELLE AIR EUROPE offers gratis accompaniment in the Departure and arrival Airports as well as a Wheel Chair.

Is it necessary to confirm the time of the flight before the returning flight?

In exceptional cases the time of the departure of your returning flight can change. To be able to eventually be informed for such change, it is necessary to confirm by phone the time-tables before any returning flight. Please address to our Service Center that is at your disposal 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. You can find the phone number on your ticket.

We recommend you to request the confirmation 24 to 48 hours before the returning flight.

We announce you that in case you loose the flight because of the lack of confirmation, you loose the right of transport!

When is the latest arrival time at the airport before departure?

To guarantee the check-in without problems and a punctual departure, it is indispensable that you turn up at the check-in counter not later than 60 minutes before the departure. Check in is opened 2 hours before departure and is closed 45 minutes before departure. If you do not arrive there in time, your transport may be refused and not refunded.

In which case free extra luggage can be transported?

Each person os entitled to carry freely a 20 KG luggage. This rule applies to  as well for children between 2 and 12 years old.
The maximum weight for each separate luggage should not exceed 32 kg, in order not to damage the health of uploading them in the aircraft.

Each passenger can take on board the aircraft one hand-luggage, it's weight should not exceed 6 kg and it's dimensions should not be bigger than 116 cm (55 x 40 x 20 cm).

What do we need to know for special luggage?

The equipment of skii and snowboard can be transported for free, even if they weigh more than the normal of 20 kg per person. Claiming these equipments is not necessary. The special luggage can be transported according to very special conditions.

The transport of these luggages should be claimed at the Service Center.

Which are the forbidden objects on board of the aircraft?

Based on a EU regulation, since February 1, 2004, it is not allowed to take the following objects onboard the aircrafts for all flights departing from Albania: pistols, fire guns and guns, pointed guns, sharp and other cutting objects such as scissors, knives (you can use nail cutter for manicure), ski and alpinism sticks, objects that can cause wounds such as golf clubs, billiard cues, fishing rod; explosives and inflammable substances; chemical and toxic substances that are dangerous for the health of the passengers and the staff, or for the technical and general security of the aircraft. This list is not definitive, and it is subject to change at any moment. For determined flights, additional regulations can be created. Further more, the IATA regulation, for the transportation of dangerous objects, must be followed.

The new rules apply from Monday, 6 November 2006 at all airports in the EU and in Norway, Iceland and Switzerland.

WHAT IS NEW ?

While packing
While there are no limitations for liquids in bags that you check in (the one you hand in at the check-in to receive it at the destination airport ), in the hand luggage, that is the one you show at security checkpoints, only small quantities of liquids are allowed. These liquids must be in individual containers with a maximum capacity of 100 millilitres (1/10 litre) each or equivalents (e.g. 100 grams). These containers must be packed in one transparent, re-sealable plastic bag of not more than one litre capacity per passenger (or rather with dimensions equal to about 18 x 20 cm). It must be possible to close the plastic bag with its content (namely, the containers should enter comfortably in it). For each passenger only one plastic bag of the said dimensions will be allowed, infants included (see photo). Outside the bag and without any volume limitations medicines and liquids prescribed for dietary aims can be transported, as well as baby food .

At the airport
To help screeners detect liquids, you must: 
- present all liquids carried to the screeners at security checkpoints for examination;
- take off your jacket and/or coat. They will be screened separately whilst you are screened;
- remove laptop computers and other large electrical devices from your hand luggage. They will be screened separately whilst you are screened.

water and other drinks, soups, syrups
- creams, lotions and oils
- perfumes
- sprays - gels, including hair and shower gels - contents of pressurised containers, including shaving foam, other foams and deodorants
- pastes, including toothpaste
- liquid-solid mixtures
- mascara
- any other item of similar consistency*

- Youghurt, fresh cheese 
- Melted cheese (e.g.. camembert)

- Solid lipstick
- In solid form cheeses (e.g. edam, parmesan)
- Talcum powder

 WHAT DOES NOT CHANGE ?

You can still:
1. pack liquids in bags that you check in the new rules only affect hand luggage;

2. carry in your hand luggage medicines and dietary requirements, including baby foods, for use during the trip. You may be asked to proof that they are needed and that they are authentic;

3. buy liquids such as drinks and perfumes either in an EU airport shop when located beyond the point where you show your boarding pass or on board an aircraft operated by an EU airline. If they are sold in a special sealed bag, do not open it before you are screened otherwise the contents may be confiscated at the checkpoint. (If you transfer at an EU airport, do not open the bag before screening at your airport of transfer, or at the last one if you transfer more than once).

All these liquids are additional to the quantities in the re-sealable plastic bag mentioned above.
If you have any doubts, please refer to your airline or travel agent prior to the journey.

In case you find out after arrival that you luggage is damaged please go immediately to "Lost & Found" office in the Airport where will be issued an Irregularity Report. If that is not possible please address a written statement to BELLE AIR EUROPE, E-Mail: assistenza.bagagli@belleaireurope.eu.

In case your luggage is being sent to a wrong address please go immediately to "Lost & Found" office in the Airport where will be issued an Irregularity Report. If within 5 days your luggage is not found please contact us at our assistant  office for luggage in Ancona Airport.

What are the conditions to travel with companion animals?

 On October 1st, 2004, a new regulation CE (n. 998/2003) related to the conditions of the sanitary policies applicable to the movement of accompanying animals for the prevention of rage will be in force. If you want to take your animal with you, you will have to be informed for the entrance conditions of different countries. We recommend you to read the complete test of the regulation before the reservation or to be informed at your veterinarian, veterinarian office or place of inspection at the boarder.
